I was talking to a customer yesterday that was a former bodybuilder. We talked about quite a few things, but ended our conversation talking about bodybuilding. As you could imagine from the fact I said he was a former bodybuilder. Well we mentioned how the sport is very subjective. He was in a contest where all around he was the best guy, but he was up against a guy with a massive chest and arms. Basically if you have that you win. You could have skinny stick legs, but as long as you have a big chest and arms they notice you. He then told me that back with Joe Weider basically owned bodybuilding he sat in a seminar with a bodybuilder. This was back in the early 90's I think. The guy was from the UK and was "built like a rhino". Someone asked him if he thought he could win the Mr. Olympia and he said flat out no. He was told by Joe Weider himself that he had an "unfortunate face". Basically he didn't have a pretty enough face to sell supplements so he would never ever win despite him being the best guy on stage. And when you think about that it's true even today. A lot of the top guys are guys that are lookers. You won't ever see a guy with burn scars or anything like that up front. Even awhile back I remember reading my dad's muscle and fitness magazine. It was either the Arnold Classic or the Olympia they were covering showing all the winners. Well one of the guys close to last had a great build. And was short, but he had a face that looked like one of those goompas from the Mario Bros movie that came out in the 90's. That's just how our society is. Your body can be great, but if the face isn't good you'll never make it too far. Even porn is like that. You can have a decent body and fuck horribly as long as you are a pretty face. Hell you can even have the limpest dick while you are getting sucked and still have a massive following. Yes that was a cheap shot at Cody Cummings. If you have an "unfortunate face", great body, and are a great lay you will never be popular. You'll have some fans yes, but not mass appeal. Then you look at these pretty faces and there is nothing more to them really. Or they are vain and narcissistic, but I guess that's what you would expect from an industry based on sex appeal. I for one will always find the ones that actually have something to back them up far more appealing then a pretty face.
Dillon Press is one of those guys that I find very appealing. In this photo he's not at his biggest, but still has a good build on him. From the look of things in the mirror he's getting ready for a threesome. There is a guy with hairy legs standing (taking the photo I assume) and a leg on the ground that's hairless. Dillon has that daddy quality. Seemed like he was called daddy the second he stepped in front of the camera. I'm sure it has to do with the bald head and the stern look he almost always has.
I've been wondering what happened to Adam Rogue. Seems like he just up and disappeared. He hasn't posted anything on twitter or done any recent videos. That's when I found this photo on happy town. Adam Rogue is a guy that would easily make me melt. He has a great body and just this personality that makes me want to just talk to him. Sadly if he's on the guy site it isn't good. Sadly I think too many guys say he has that "unfortunate" face I was talking about earlier. I personally think he looks sexy. Plus the guy site is not exactly a big site. Seems it's where guys go to get their foot wet. Rocky LaBarre started there and Matt Sinclair has done some stuff for them, but it has a very ameaturish quality about it. The director is constantly talking and taking photos interrupting the action. It's badly edited as well. Seems it's kinda where actual pornstars go to kinda end their career. It's one of the last places Vince Ferelli did anything for. Ray Stone is on there, but he's kinda hit the off brand sites. So hopefully this sparks up some more interest in him so he can keep doing videos.
This photo is more proof that tanning and oil is kinda a must in bodybuilding. There is a clear difference in this guy's top and lower half. As well as the guy in the foreground. That tanning helps to keep light from washing out guys with fairer skin. The oil also makes the nooks and crannies pop more. It's a lot more noticeable in webcams. If you ever come across a guy on webcam without posing gel you'll say he looks good, but if he puts some on on camera you can see a big difference.
Wouldn't you love to come down stairs to find this guy waiting for you. Don't think he'd fit in my stocking though. Bo Dixon is a guy that I wish did more videos. He did one jack off video for Colt and that scene for Hot House. He said that last one was at a request of a friend. Then all of a sudden the net exploded with new pictures of him. He is a great model, but I do love seeing that body in action.
