Not exactly what I expected

Well the weekend didn't turn out exactly how I had planned. I went out with my dad's on Saturday and a couple of hours in, my stomach was bothering me. At first I thought the food wasn't agreeing with me, but I was near vomiting and running a fever so that put an end to that. The next day I didn't feel like really doing much. Spent a lot of time on the couch so had to reschedule the date with Matt to tomorrow. Did finally feel well enough to have dinner with friends later that night. Me and Ted went over to hang out with a couple we know. Had a good time, but Ted did take up a good chunk of the evening talking about the problems he had with his ex. Well can't really call him an ex since they never really went out. Let's just say the guy is clingy and gets on everyone's nerves. He's one of those guys who isn't out, but everyone knows he's gay like Clay Aiken. Today I'm feeling better, but taking it easy. Not doing anything super crazy.
The parts with my dads that were fun was going out to eat. They just seemed happier this time around. You know how when you are with a couple you can kinda tell when they are in a good place and when they aren't. Even if they don't argue a lot you just feel like there is something wrong. Well this time they just felt better. They felt more in sync and like they were a young happy couple again. Hoping it stays that way. I'm a romantic and I like to see happy couples even if I'm not in one. Well most of the time. There are certain people that need to tone it down.
