A lot has certainly happened in a few hours. For those of you that don't know because you aren't on some sort of social media or don't have a tv or just don't live in the US, 2 important rulings came down today. The Supreme court ruled on DOMA and Prop 8. DOMA is the Defense of Marriage act which defines marriage as between one man and one woman. Basically it means that same sex couples don't get the same federal rights as a straight couple. That means if your husband or wife died in combat you wouldn't be notified, you can't leave your possessions for your spouse without them paying a huge amount of taxes. All the things that straight couples take for granted. Well it was ruled unconstitutional. That is a big thing to say. It wasn't simply struck down or sent back to congress, no it was called unconstitutional. The big reason was that is specifically was targeted to discriminate against a specific group of people. The other big decision was basically a ruling by a technicality. Prop 8 was a bill passed by a 52% vote in California. The bill was challenged and lost. The state of California chose not to appeal the ruling, but a private party did. Since this party did not suffer because of the passing of this they had no legal standing to challenge the appeal. So that means Prop 8 was once again struck down and couples can continue to get married in California.
To be honest the way these two things went down I'm really not shocked. Legally standing there is no reason to not allow same sex marriage. The big argument was that a "traditional" marriage can result in a pregnancy. Well seeing as there are straight couples that chose or can't have children and gay couples can adopt in some states makes that argument pretty null and void. It's exactly why it's allowed to have interracial marriages. I don't know how long ago that was ruled illegal thanks to the Jim Crow laws. Slowly, but surely a lot of these things are being challenged and failing because there is no legal reason to not allow it. I don't know if this is true, but I heard on the today show that just 10 years ago a ruling said it was legal for two consenting adults to engage in sexual acts in the privacy of their own home. I'd have to do some research on that one. Just shows that we are in a pretty interesting time for civil rights. Hard to believe that if I wanted to get married to another man I just have to cross the Mississippi. I live in Wisconsin and Minnesota isn't that far from here. Then I'd not only be legally married in the state, but the Federal government has to recognize it. Yes we do have a long way to go, but it's a big step forward. We don't know if marriages from different states will now be recognized. I would think that with the right challenge they will. If a straight couple gets married in Las Vegas, but live in Texas, the state of Texas does recognize that marriage as valid. So you can see that with the right argument and the correct plaintiff that would go to same sex couples, but that is a fight for another day.
Bodybuilders in jocks that barely cover their dicks wrestling. Need I say more?
Cowboys are sexy, but make a mysterious brooding cowboy with a rocking body shirtless and well you get every guy and girl after you.
I beg Con to let us see what his dick looks like. It's gotten to the point where it's not teasing, it's just punishment. Brad Hollibaugh did the same thing. Turned out that dude had a massive dick. The more he holds out the more I think he has something to hide. Yes maybe by not doing a full nudity shot he can say he has never done porn. I know the bodybuilding community can be iffy on the subject. Bruce Patterson was pretty much blackballed for the work he did. Don't know how Zeb is getting treated. Chris Duffy even mentioned the fact in an interview that he doesn't think he could go back on the circuit because of his tattoos and the fact that he's gay and did porn. It was from an interview awhile ago so don't know if he did ever try to get back into it or not.
I'm feeling sleepy. I could use a good pillow. He'll do nicely.
